CARES ACT REPORTING INFORMATION

Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act

30-Day Report

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law to provide economic relief from COVID-19. One section of the CARES Act established the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) and sent money to schools to use for emergency financial aid grants to students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the pandemic.

In compliance with the provisions set forth under Section 4504 in Title II of the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES Act, Unlimited Cosmetology School will provide CARES Student Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The intent of the CARES Act is to provide financial support to offset the cost for expenses incurred as a result of the disruption of school operations due to the COVID-19 crisis. The first tranche of funding made available by the Department of Education on April 10, 2020 represents 50% of Unlimited Cosmetology School’s total allocation under the HEERF and does not include the school’s portion of funds.
